Bu çalışmada öncelikle Türkçe ve Almancadaki deyim ve atasözleri taranarak, her iki dilde de kadınlarla ilgili ifadeler tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra bu atasözü ve deyimlerde kadın toplumsal rolleri açısından incelenmiştir. Birey olarak, eş olarak, karşı cins olarak ve anne olarak kadının rolleri farklı kategorilerde ele alınmıştır. İki farklı kültürün kadına bakış açısı ve bu bakışın dildeki yansımaları karşılaştırılmıştır. Atasözleri ve deyimlerden hareketle kadının toplumdaki konumu ve anlamı incelenmiştir. Çalışmada hem yapısal hem anlamsal olarak Türkçe ve Almancada az sayıda deyim ve atasözü benzerlik göstermektedir. Ancak kadının toplumdaki yeri ve görevi açısından bakıldığında, hem Almanca hem de Türkçede kadına yönelik çok fazla olumsuz söylem olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu olumsuz ifadeler daha çok kadının eş ve karşı cins olarak yer aldığı atasözleri ve deyimlerdedir. Sonuç olarak çalışmada farklı yaşam biçimlerine sahip iki kültürün kadına bakış açısında benzer tarafların olduğu ve bunun dile, atasözü ve deyimlere yansıdığı gösterilmiştir.
In this study, first the idioms and proverbs in Turkish and German were searched and the phrases related to women in both languages have been identified. Then, in this proverbs and idioms, women were examined in terms of their social roles. Womens role as an individual, as a spouse, as an opposite sex and as a mother, in different categories were discussed. The perspective of two different cultures towards woman and the reflections of this view in the language were compared. Based on proverbs and idioms, the position and meaning of women in society were examined. In the study, a small number of idioms and proverbs are both structurally and semantically similar in Turkish and German. However, in terms of the position and duty of women in society, there are too many negative discourses on women in both German and Turkish. These negative expressions are mostly in the proverbs and idioms where the woman are the spouse and the opposite sex. Inconclusion, in the study, it was shown that there are similar parties in the perspective of two cultures with different lifestyles towards woman and this is reflected in language, proverb and idioms.
