Poems, novels, short stories, fairy-tales (märchen), legends and movies provide us with countless episodes dealing with hunting. Poaching (illegal hunting) of the modern times is also encountered in the mentioned works. Fiction is indeed significant in reflecting and illuminating the real life, when considered from the perspective of sociology of literature and fine arts. Obviously, listing an entire collection of numerous works involved would constitute an immense set far too large for the volume of a single article. Instead; here, merely a sample of similar examples are alluded to. Those specific works are naturally the ones which the author have come across, along his course of reading hours or movie-watching sessions, during recent years. Some mental associations deriving from a succession of further ideas are provided separately in the form of endnotes, before the list of references.
