Bu çalışmanın amacı, Orhan Veli’nin şiirlerinde +DA hâl ekinin işlevsel kullanımını ve her bir işlevin söz dizimi içerisindeki görevini tespit etmektir. Orhan Veli, Cumhuriyet dönemi şairlerinin en önemlilerinden biridir. Şiirin yüksek zümreye değil halka hitap etmesi gerektiğini savunmuş ve şiirlerini konuşma dilinden yararlanarak akıcı, yalın bir Türkçe ile kaleme almıştır. Çalışmada +DA eki, Daşdemir (2015) tarafından işlevsel yaklaşıma uygun olarak ekin söz dizimi içerisindeki işlev ve görevleri esas alınarak oluşturulan hâl kategorileri içerisinde değerlendirilecektir. İşlevsel yaklaşımda hâl, ismin aldığı eklere göre değil cümlede üstlenmiş olduğu görevlere göre belirlenmektedir. Çalışmada, Orhan Veli’nin Yapı Kredi Yayınları tarafından yayımlanan Bütün Şiirleri adlı eser kullanılmıştır. Eser taranarak +DA hâl ekinin kullanıldığı bütün cümleler tespit edilmiş ve ekin şiirlerdeki işlevsel kullanımına göre tasnif edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, +DA hâl ekinin 7 farklı işlevde kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Kullanım sıklığına göre bu işlevler şu şekildedir: bulunma hâli, yüklem ismi hâli, niteleme hâli, aitlik hâli, hedef hâli, karşıtlık hâli, beraberlik hâli. Bu işlevlerde yüklendikleri görevler ise yer tümleci, yüklem, zaman tümleci, hâl tümleci, aitlik sıfatı, niteleme sıfatı, aitlik zamiri, hâl zarfı, hedef tümleci, karşıtlık tümleci ve beraberlik tümleci olarak tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to designate the functional use of case suffix +DA in Orhan Veli's poems and the role of each function in the syntax. Orhan Veli is one of the most significant poets of the Turkish Republican Period. He defended the opinion that poetry should address to the public, not the high class, and he wrote his poems in a fluent and plain Turkish by utilizing the spoken language. In the study, the +DA suffix will be evaluated in the case categories formed by Daşdemir (2015) based on the suffix’s functions and tasks in the syntax in accordance with the functional approach. In the functional approach, the case is determined not according to the suffixes the noun takes, but according to the tasks which it is assigned in the sentence. In the study, the book named Bütün Şiirleri of Orhan Veli published by Yapı Kredi Publications was used. By scanning the book, all sentences with suffix +DA were determined and these suffixes were classified according to their functional use in poems. As a result of the study, the outcome that the case suffix +DA is used in 7 different functions was reached. According to the frequency of usage, these functions are as follows: the locative case, predicate noun case, qualitative case, possessive case, target case, opposition case and commutative case. The tasks they undertake in these functions are determined as place object, predicate, time object, case object, possessive adjective, qualitative adjective, possessive pronoun, case adverb, target object, opposition object and commutative object.
