Bu araştırmanın amacı tıp fakültesi öğrencilerinin Tıp Tarihi ve Etiği dersinin tıp tarihi konularına ilişkin görüşlerini belirleyebilmektir. Karma metodolojinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2016–2017 öğretim yılında, Ankara ili Gazi Üniversitesinde Tıp Fakültesinde ikinci ve üçüncü sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 580 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan anket ve standartlaştırılmış açık uçlu mülakat kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan nicel veriler betimsel istatistikle, nitel veriler ise içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda araştırmaya katılan tıp fakültesi 2. ve 3. Sınıf öğrencilerinin Tıp Tarihi ve Etiği dersinde Tıp tarihi konularına yönelik olumlu tutuma sahip oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.
The aim of this study is to identify the opinions of medical faculty students about the topics of History of Medicine from History and Ethics of Medicine Course. The working group done with mixed methodology consists of a total of 580 students in the second and third year of their education, enrolled in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara in 2016-2017 academic year. A questionnaire and standardized open-ended interview were used as data collection tool. The quantitative data collected in the research were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. At the end of the study, it was found that 2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine had a positive attitude towards topics of history of medicine in History and Ethics of Medicine course.
