Bu çalışmanın amacı, Köln Üniversitesi Orientalistik Bölümü İslam Dünyası Dilleri ve Kültürleri Programına devam eden öğrencilerin Türk dili, edebiyatı ve Türkiye ile ilgili görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada betimsel nitelikli tarama modeli benimsenmiştir. Çalışmanın çalışma grubunu Köln Üniversitesi Orientalistik Bölümü İslam Dünyası Dilleri ve Kültürleri Programına devam eden ve çalışmaya katkı sağlamak isteyen 22 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan 7 maddelik görüş formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler, betimsel analiz ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları arasında araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin Türkçeyi öğrenme konusunda istekli oldukları, Türk edebiyatına uzak oldukları ve Türkiye'yi siyasi yönüyle daha çok tanıdıkları yer almaktadır. Türklere yönelik algının da olumlu yönde daha baskın olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the opinions of students who attend the Department of Orientalistic in Islamic World Languages and Cultures Program of the University of Cologne on Turkish Language, Literature and Turkey. Descriptive scanning model has been adopted in the study. The working group of the study consisted of 22 people who continued to study Islamic World Languages and Cultures Program at the Department of Orientalistic at the University of Cologne and wanted to contribute to the study. A 7-point opinion form created by researchers was used to collect the data. The data were evaluated by descriptive analysis. Among the results of the research, it is observed that the students who participated in the research are willing to learn Turkic language, they are away from Turkish literature and they know Turkey more politically. It has been determined that the perception for the Turks is more dominant in the positive direction.
