ORTAOKUL TÜRKÇE DERS KİTAPLARININ ÇOCUK HAKLARI AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokulda okutulan Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki yazınsal metinlerde, hazırlık sorularında, ders içi ve ders dışı etkinliklerde, değerlendirme sorularında ve görsel metinlerde Birleşmiş Milletler Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesi’nde çocuklara tanınan yaşama hakkı, gelişme hakkı, katılım hakkı ve koruma hakkının ne düzeyde yer aldığını belirlemektir. Araştırma doküman inceleme modelindedir. Bu araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda ilk dikkat çekici bulgu, kitaplarda çocukların gelişimsel ve yaşamsal hakları ile ilgili anlatımlara daha çok yer verilmesi iken; katılım ve koruma hakları ile ilgili anlatımlara ise daha az yer verilmesidir. Diğer bir önemli bulgu ise Türkçe ders kitaplarının yazınsal metinlerinde Birleşmiş Milletler Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesi’nde çocuklara tanınan yaşama hakkı, gelişme hakkı, koruma hakkı ve katılım hakkı ile ilgili ifadelere daha fazla yer verilirken; Türkçe ders kitaplarında önerilen ders içi ve ders dışı etkinlikler, hazırlık soruları, değerlendirme soruları ve görsel metinlerde daha az yer verildiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

The purpose of this research is to determine the level right of life, right of development, right of participation and protection granted to children in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in literary texts, preparatory questions, in-class and extracurricular activities, evaluation questions and visual texts in Turkish textbooks taught in secondary school. The research is in document analysis model. İn this investigate, one of the qualitative research methods content analysis method was used. As a result of this study, which examines the level of children's rights in Turkish textbooks taught in secondary school, the first striking finding is that the books contain more explanations about children's developmental and vital rights; statements about participation and protection rights are given less. One another important finding is that in the literary texts of the Turkish textbooks, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child gives more information about the right to life, the right to development, the right toprotection and the right to participation; it was concluded that lessons were given in the lesson activities, preparation questions, evaluation questions and visual texts proposed in Turkish textbooks. In addition, considering the development levels of children and their capacity to understand children's rights issues in Turkish textbooks.
