THE NEW LANGUAGE OF NEOLIBERALISM AND HEGEMONY TOTAL BUREAUCRATIZATION: A CRITICAL LITERATURE ANALYSIS

The aim of this study is to discuss the effects of "total bureaucratization", which transfers bureaucratization to all levels of daily life and seems to be an inevitable feature of the modern world. The data were obtained from the secondary sources. Instead of making a new theoretical analysis or a conceptual contribution, a critical interpretation was tried to be developed through the discussions in the literature. The bureaucratic management model that marked the twentieth century has been criticized with the emergence of a New Public Management (NPM), which can be seen as the reflection of neoliberalism in public administration. One of the leading goals of NPM is to reduce bureaucratic formalities by making the private sector management logic dominant in public sector. Contrarily, bureaucratic formalities are becoming widespread in every facet of daily life.
