Abstract


THE IMPACT OF THE LOCAL FOOD TO THE SUSTAINABLE TOURISM: THE CASE OF KIRGS COUSINE
Kirghizstan which constitute the basic of Eurasian civilization and its rich cultural background is usually known with its topography, Silk Road and nomad culture. When reviewing the relevant literature it can be seen that amount of the studies about Kirghizstan Cousin is not desired level although Kirghizstan hosted many civilizations and affected their feeding behavior in its history. To full fill this gap this study’s purpose revealing the richness of Kirghizstan Cousin and determine its effects to the tourism. The data required for the research were obtained from the field survey conducted in April 2018. After evaluating the data in the electronic environment, It was determined that the local dishes affect the destinations in five (5) different dimensions (cultural, social, health, economic and promotion). It was also determined that the opinions about local dishes that contribute positively in general differ according to gender, marital status, education level and income level.
