SOCIAL THEME IN THE IDIOMS OF YEŞİLYURT (MANİSA)

Idioms, proverbs, or stereotypes are very important in order to briefly state and say the essence of anything in a language. The transfer of what is meant in any language with different words or actions actually shows the richness of that language. Of course, language does this by feeding from many different sources. For example, word diversity in Turkish can be attributed to many sources. One of these sources is of course Anatolian dialects. One of the most important features of the dialects is that any known word, action or structure is one of the sources that reveal different usage forms and enrich the spoken language in this context.Anatolian dialects are very rich in terms of idiom usage. So much so that a subject that needs to be explained at length can be summarized in a phrase. In fact, individuals sometimes express an unpleasant event while they prefer idioms, one of the short cuts.In this study, the expressions compiled from Yeşilyurt (Manisa) Village which are quite different from neighboring villages or neighboring villages in terms of word / action / structure will be emphasized and the compiled idioms will be examined in terms of structure and meaning.
