In the grammar studies prepared for Turkish language in Turkey, words are classified either as meaningful words in Arabic (names and verbs) and functionary words (preposition, interjection, conjunction) or in a similar pattern of a west language grammer like French. According to the recent grammar studies, words have generally been analyzed as noun, adjective, pronoun, adverb, verb, preposition, conjuction and interjection. In addition to these eight headlines, it is usual to see some extra studies including auxiliary and modal verbs. When we examine the Turkmen Turkish –even the dialects of Turkic states which left the Soviet Union– we can see a considerable increase in parts of speech. The grammar studies conducted in this geography not only includes the familiar noun, adjective, pronoun, adverb, verb, preposition, conjunction and exclamation but also the numbers, enclitics, modal idioms, vocal mimic words, children idioms, addressing words. As a result of our work, it is aimed to reach certain conclusions with regard to the types of words in Turkmen Turkish and for other dialects examples. Also another result is to become clearer some grammar terms for lecturers, learners or users of these dialects.
