AN EXAMPLE OF PARODY IN THE DETECTIVE STORY : SPECIAL ENVOY, A SPY NOVEL

Authors who have the freedom to perceive the world differently, to capture the astounding one and to use it infinitely, establishes to the reader a very colorful and rich universe as life itself. The universal dimension, form, and imagination as well as the authenticity of the artist who goes between the fiction and the reality reveal his literary value. In this sense, Jean Echenoz, one of the most important writers of contemporary French literature, stands in a very successful place in the world of literature with its unique style, each with a different and interesting conception. His latest novel, Special Envoy, published by the author in 2016, whose style is felt most prominently, resembles an entertaining thriller and espionage film between Paris, Creuse and North Korea. Using the form and content of detective, adventure and black novels, the author transforms them into a different and rich essence. In this work, it will be explored in the spy novel, parodying the traditional detective novelist ; how the author approaches even the most serious issues in a mysterious way, how these forms transform into a hybrid structure, and how complex events and situations are located within the bounds of fiction and reality.
