When we take a holistic view of the studies on the Turkish dialects of the Thrace region, which contain many elements in ethnic terms, it is observed that the studies are university undergraduate theses, graduate theses, Masters and Ph.D. studies. In these studies, the aim is mainly to determine the differences in sound and shape or similarities. There are also many studies on folkloric materials, mania, and proverbs, as well as studies that study the sound and structure characteristics of fingerprints on more specific problems. However, the study of a dictionary aimed at proving the vocabulary of the Thrace region has not been observed to this day. Especially in Western Thrace, where we are working in particular, it seems to be a very big deficiency that no other study has been done except for the superficial compilation and examination studies done in very narrow areas and even for some villages. The issue of determining the vocabulary of dialects is important for many reasons. It is possible to reach many sociological databases through dictionary studies such as people's worldview, interests and beliefs. For this reason, we think that this study will contribute to our cultural world, which we have created from the compilation studies that we have done in this region for about five years.
