CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMPULSORY DOCUMENT FROM KESİKKELİ VILLAGE

Compilation Studies began in 1932 with the establishment of the Turkish Language Institution. In the beginning, amateur dialect studies have become widespread since 1950. In particular, in order to determine the characteristics of the mouths of each province, speech texts were compiled by experts and dictionaries were formed from the obtained data. However, these dictionaries were not fully reflected in the province where the conditions of the period and the difficulties and limitations of the possibilities of study were compiled. For this reason, the compilation dictionary contains deficiencies in its own right. If it is thought that the words living in the mouth have narrowed over time and their usage patterns are changed or even eliminated, it is necessary to complete the missing word and update the dictionary with new compilation studies. In this study, the words collected from the Kesikkeli Village of Kadirli District of Osmaniye were examined and submitted as suggestions to contribute to the Compilation Document. These words are compiled as 1. Words not in the dictionary, 2. Differential in terms of meaning, 3. Words in the form of difference, and 4. Words not mentioned in the Osmaniye province.
