Deletion canbe observed both in vowels and consonants. In this study, emphasis is put only on consonant deletion. Consonant deletions observed in native Ahiska Turkish dialect were grouped not based on the position of the deleted consonant, such as syncope or aphaeresis, depending on the phonetic phenomena such as fusion, contraction, elision, but the deleted consonant itself is provided as a heading, and the examinations were made in this regard.
