Unfortunately, our country’s most important compilation work "Compilation Dictionary" doesn’t contain significant part of our dialect vocabulary. It’s a must for Turkish and dialect studies to make fast and planned compilation over our oral language that started to become unproductive with the technological advance and progress in educational level. Considering the fact that the essential part of dialect studies consists of those who are over mid-age it’s clear that barring hasten in compilation works, lots of words are going to die away without being compiled. The vocabulary compiled from our dialect and different types of grammar in the products will provide us great amount of benefit to make up new terms and find Turkish version of foreign words invading our language. Also , the language materials shed light on solution of lots of problems about the history of our language. In this work approximately 200 words , compiled in the village Şahsuvar in Elazığ, features some of them doesn’t existed in the “Compilation Dictionary” and some of them existed but in different meaning. In Şahsuvar village, Turcoman, who were dealing with animal husbandry till recent years and feed animals living migratory life in significant amount of year, resides. Şahsuvar dialect by preserving old Turkish and some of other words in other historical periods by it’s grammatical shape and also by the fact that our language has prosperous vocabulary that shows its’ derivation power attracts attention.The purpose of this work is to contribute both “Compilation Dictionary” and our language vocabulary.
