Iraq Erbil Turkmen Dialect G> C Consonant Change


Erbil is a city of in Northern Iraq. There are more than one million inhabitants. Erbil is old Turkmen city. Erbil name comes from Erbaillo (Assyrian:four Gods). Today 30% of the population is Turkmen. One of the defining features of the dialect G> C change from consonants. In this article, g> c, k>ç internal vowel changes, such as the sample will be processed the words. k> ç before vowel change has occurred. g> ç change is not seen in the word. ğ> c change of consonants in the word seen. These words are also different sound events. Iraq-Erbil Turkmen mouth, a dialect of Turkey Turkish brothers.
